“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kingswood Secondary Academy. I arrived here from Wollaston School in Northamptonshire where I had a variety of roles including Head of Year. I am now Head of Physical Education. I began my teaching career at Loughborough University where I completed my degree and a PGCE. My interests include watching and playing a variety of sports including squash and football.”

“I've been working at Kingswood since October 2014, initially on a temporary basis which was made permanent in August 2015. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far and I hope to develop the PE department further. I completed my Initial Teacher Training at the University of Chichester in 2014 having completed a 4 year course in Secondary Physical Education. My favourite sport is Rugby and I also enjoy taking part in half marathons and obstacle races such as tough mudder.”

I gained my undergraduate degree at The University of Hull in 2013 studying BSc Sport, Health and Exercise Science, a subject that I have a great passion for. I currently teach KS3 and KS4 at Kingswood and I am hoping in the future to become more involved with the academy’s successful sixth form. My main sport is basketball however I enjoy taking part in all sports.”
