Music at The Kingswood School might only be a small department, but we’ve got a lot of passion and enthusiasm to provide a wide ranging musical education.
At Key Stage 3, we explore a broad curriculum that takes in everything from Rap, Pop and Rock, to Film Themes and World Music alongside more traditional musical structures and styles.
At Key Stages 4 and 5 we build upon foundations based in student enjoyment of music to refine their skills and provide them with the technical and theoretical understanding to become fully rounded musicians.
We are continually looking for new ways to explore the ever expanding sphere of the musical world.
