The July Parents' and Carers' Pack is now available. This month we cover preparing for results day, boosting employability skills, the apprentice perspective during lockdown, Microsoft's new digital skills courses, a parent's take on apprenticeships and much more. Results Day poster
Results Day can be a busy day for both students and staff, so when students receive their results it's crucial to be able to offer them the support they need. This poster brings together a range of helpful ideas on how to support students on Results Day, including useful websites, free advice services and more.
 
Microsoft webinar
Microsoft joined us for a webinar following the announcement of 30 new apprenticeship vacancies and the launch of their new global initiative to help users to acquire the digital skills needed in a Covid-19 economy. Watch the webinar now to find out more.
 
Free T Level Explainers
The T Levels team are running a series of explainer webinars to give insight into this exciting new qualification. Check out the explainers here, two are available to watch now on demand, with a further two scheduled as live webinars tomorrow and next week.
 
DfE guides for Results Day
The Department for Education has developed two post-16 ‘choices’ resources, a route comparison grid showing routes available after GCSEs and a 2 minute animation film. These resources simplify the options available to young people after GCSEs. 18+ Choices resources will also be available soon.
 
National Careers Service support
The National Careers Service are running a series of free webinars this month to support individuals in preparing for virtual interviews with employers. Every Tuesday in July at 10am, these webinars include practical tips on how to prepare in advance and interview confidently on the day.
