Connexions
Connexions is a support service offering information, advice and guidance for young people aged 13 – 19. A Connexions Personal Adviser can talk through any issues a young person has, help them plan for the future and support them with their decisions.
The Connexions Personal Advisers for The Kingswood School are Ian Doherty and Margaret Smith. Ian and Margaret offer one-to-one support, advice and information on GCSE and A level choices, college courses and training and career opportunities.
During Year 11 Connexions visit all the year 11 tutor groups to help students with their future plans. Students can also speak to Connexions in school by attending one of the following drop-in sessions:
Years 9, 10 and 11 Wednesday 11.00am – 11.30am or 1.30pm – 2.00pm in the Upper School Library
6th form Students Wednesday 2.00pm – 3.00pm in the Lower School Library
